• 1987 - Photographs appeared in a Bakersfield Ad Club Pizazz award winning brochure.

• 1988 - Hired by national video company for their public relation still photographs.
• - Hired by Lieutenant Governor for environmental photographs.
• - Hired by Chamber of Commerce to photograph office buildings for Bakersfield Today Business Conference.

• 1989 - In June 1989 attended World Famous Photographer David A. Ziser's workshop.
• - Sheriff's Benefit Association photographer for the cover of "Behind the Badge"

• 1990 - Photographed Grand Opening for May Company and Harris Department Store.

• 1991 - Hired by the County of Kern to photograph the historical restoration of the Baker Street Library.

• 1992 - Won best of show in South Valley Professionals in Photography Print competition.
• - Won Scholarship to West Coast School of Photography.

• 1993 - Elected President of South Valley Professionals in Photography.

• 1994 - Opened Stock Photography Agency

• 1995 - Opened Custom Framing Department

• 1996 - Scott Hislop was one of four Southern California Photographers picked by Kodak for their Professional Imaging Slide Show.
  
  

• 2003 - At California State Print Competition, Scott Hislop was awarded Animal Photographer Of The Year. Scott also won Fuji Best Illustrative, The President's Award and Best Of Show.
